Winter Dragon Thrones is the perfect “entry” event for new players!

Here’s why:

- Lots of Game Master attention: with adventure parties capped at around six (6) players, your Game Master will be able to answer all your questions and help you.

- Familiar rules: You can build your character using 5E tabletop RPG rules first, so you will have a strong concept for your character before moving into the story with your live-action roleplaying details. There are no unfamiliar “homebrew” rulesets to master. You will be confident entering the event!

- Easy preparation: You can talk to the event runners and players online in the Dragon Thrones Discord chat channels to prepare your costuming and other needs for the event. You will show up ready and confident!

- Smaller player count: you will not struggle to know “who is who” because our winter events are more intimate. You will never be overwhelmed with people or information to know.

- A simple schedule: The winter event is indoors and timed into “gaming rounds” and “LARP scenes,” each will progress the story at a rewarding pace. You will always be involved, know where to be, and have staff to assist you so you will never miss a thing!

  • - A Full Adventure: The game will include a complete adventure campaign: 5E tabletop RPG mixed with theatrical Live-Action Roleplaying in the mansion!

  • - Adventure parties will have their own GM and adventure table

  • - Players will experience a fully in-depth global adventure, visiting the Kingdoms of Kambria.

    - You will start playing as a low-level aspiring hero who will “level up” over the weekend.

  • - As always, amazing photos will be taken to capture all the magical moments and cosplay!

I. Ticket Types

We offer multiple tickets, including single private rooms for one person, double rooms for couples, friends, and family who wish to share a room, and the choice of 2, 3, or 4-night hotel room stays. All tickets include everything you need for a fantastic vacation: hotel, meals, and gaming. Tickets do not include travel costs or airfare.

Our booking experts will explain all the options and answer all your questions once contacted by you.

Tickets range from $899 to $999 per person for the entire 3-day experience, including your hotel stay, catered meals, unlimited snacks, adult drinks, world-class amenities, epic GMs, premium photos, and more! If we are compared to a big con or cruise, we are priced very competitively! Keep in mind this is an entire vacation designed for you!

We have trusted relationships with our locations, formed over many years of hosting events. This mansion estate is perfect for winter gaming as the indoor facilities, space, and atmosphere are ideal for adventure parties.

IV. Travel

Travel is easy! The hotel and venue are simple to drive to. No car? There is a train station right behind the hotel. Traveling by air? The airport is a 30-35-minute car ride to the hotel. If you do not have a vehicle, there’s always plenty of friendly ride-sharing between players. We’ve successfully hosted events with this format at these exact locations for years. We will help you with your travel planning!

    10:00 AM - The Estate Opens for the final adventures and closing ceremonies

    12:30 PM: Event Concludes (back to the hotel for player pizza party)

    Note: 4-night hotel stays check out the next day (Monday)

VI. Characters

We will guide you through the simple yet exciting character-creation process. Before booking, you can explore what Kingdom House and Character Class you want with us. We cast new players through surveys, allowing us to ask important and exciting questions to customize your experience. Your character will then come to life, first as a concept for your approval (or revision) and then as a character sheet. You will also be able to create your own RPG Sheet (standard 5E Sheet) for the event using our book PDFs, or, conversely, we and the players can assist in creating your RPG sheet; no experience in tabletop RPG gaming is required.

VII. Safety
