Welcome to Kambria — a dystopian realm ruled by the legendary Golden Dragon, King Kry’sos — Creator of the Ascension, Bringer of Tranquility, Granter of Wishes, and the Last Dragon God.
Long ago, eleven Elder Dragons descended upon Kambria, drawn by its magical Essence. Ten seized control of the Kingdoms, compelling their people to fight for them. But the eleventh, the Golden Dragon, chose not to rule — instead, he offered magic and counsel… while secretly orchestrating their downfall. One by one, the Elder Dragons fell in brutal wars until only the Golden Dragon remained, claiming dominion over Kambria.
From the remains of the defeated dragons, the Golden Dragon forged the Dragon Thrones — powerful artifacts infused with the Essence of the slain Elder Dragons. Each Kingdom’s ruler received a Dragon Throne, a symbol of their loyalty to King Kry’sos and a source of near-limitless magic. Thus began the Golden Age — an era of uneasy peace, shattered only by the games of war held once every generation: The Ascension.
At Dragon Thrones, you become a Hero of your House Court, battling for glory and striving to secure victory for your Kingdom. Will you rise through strategy, magic, or sheer daring? The realm’s fate lies in your hands.

What is Dragon Thrones?
Dragon Thrones is a 21+ immersive fantasy experience where you step into a unique character role and create unforgettable stories. It combines live-action roleplaying (LARP), tabletop RPG gaming, and interactive quests in stunning, historic locations. Whether a beginner or a seasoned roleplayer, you'll forge alliances, battle for your House, and make lasting memories with a vibrant community.
How does the game work?
Dragon Thrones focuses on storytelling with flexible rules. It’s a collaborative, open-world game where you work with Game Masters (GMs) and other players to shape the plot. Conflict and combat are story-driven, with everyone’s consent, ensuring impactful scenes without rigid mechanics.
The four key elements of Dragon Thrones are:
Live-Action Roleplaying (LARP): Interactive storytelling through group scenes, stage acts, and battles. All combat is pre-scripted with GMs for maximum drama.
Tabletop RPG Gaming: Uses 5th Edition rules for quests that expand the world’s lore and let you tackle challenges in character.
Interactive Questing: Includes NPC-led missions, scavenger hunts, escape rooms, and combat with monsters. No experience is needed—our team guides you!
Theater of War: House battles use simple rules, blending strategy, politics, and alliances to claim victory in The Ascension.
What’s included with my ticket?
Your all-inclusive ticket covers lodging, meals, drinks (including adult beverages), celebrations, and professional photos—everything except travel and costumes.
Is Dragon Thrones beginner-friendly?
Absolutely! Our GMs are skilled at supporting new players and we offer roles and quests for all experience levels.
Do I need a costume?
Yes, costumes are required, but they can be simple or elaborate. Your House and character class guide your look. Our team and community offer advice and inspiration—check the Kingdoms Page or Pinterest Board. Please avoid modern clothing like jeans or sports jerseys.
Can I bring weapons?
Only latex weapons are allowed—no metal weapons. Check out examples at Epic Armoury.
What are character sheets?
You’ll use two character sheets:
LARP Sheet: Defines your character's background, personality, goals, and relationships.
5E RPG Sheet: Used for tabletop sessions, with stats for quests and combat.
No RPG experience is needed—our GMs will guide you.
How do I get a character sheet?
New players: Choose your House at checkout and then receive a form to work on building your Character with our team. Or you can request a pre-created LARP Sheet character you can customize.
Returning players: Continue your current character or get a new LARP sheet, with the option to update your 5E RPG sheet or use a pre-made one.

Can I bring a group?
Yes! If everyone has a ticket, we can place you in the same Kingdom and arrange group activities and accommodations. Let us know, and we’ll make sure your group has an unforgettable weekend.
